Actually I didn’t know when they added the leap second, so I did some research and as it turns out there seems to be some confusion about that. One party states that the leap second was added on January, 1st at 00.59.59 others say that it was done at December, 31st at 23.59.59……. I didn’t notice an extra second counting down, but that was probably due to the weird counting down clock on television :)
