Happiness …… Keep that goodness coming!

What really has the power to make you feel good? Some adverts show us how we can improve our mood if we smoke, drink alcohol or eat certain foods. No substance can bring you true happiness. Happiness comes in the chances we get every day. I know it’s not an easy concept to embrace, but it can be done. Here are some helpful tips :)

Give your brain a natural high by watching some funny movies every week.

Remember all the times you survived your own life and what strengths you used to do it.

Want to feel playful? Have fun as often as possible!

Did you know there is an inner sitcom in you? Try to find it so you can laugh at yourself more often.

Say what you mean, and mean what you say. Be true to yourself so you won’t feel guilty all the time. There is enough guilt going around already.

Don’t criticize yourself but ask "what's the point?" Can you change it? You can’t change things like “I am too short/too old/too wrinkly/too tall” so move on….

Don’t wait to have fun. Maybe you want to finish everything else first but you could run out of time. Go out, have fun! Life is not about chores!!

Fill the air with bubbles of joy, become more enthusiastic.

If you think the worst and get the worst, then you suffer twice. You don’t want that now do you? So think the best and maybe you get the worst…...no problem, at least you only have to suffer once :)

Wake up and be aware…..that’s the only way to be fully alive. Otherwise you’re only sleepwalking.

Find the bless in every mess. You will create resilience.

So keep your eyes open and grab hold of happiness with both hands…..embrace!!
