Reasons to be cheerful:
1. I won free tickets for Concert at Sea (a small music festival near the sea).
2. I had a freshly baked croissant with strawberries for breakfast.
3. All the garden plants I bought Friday are still alive and kicking. The snails probably don't like them. Hooray!!

Lucky you. I never win anything but that is perhaps because I don't enter any competitions. Maybe I should.

I once bought one of those competition magazines and entered everything I could for about 3 months. All that slogan writing until I eventually won something - A plant pot, little bigger than an egg cup. My family laughed and laughed.
I’ve won ridiculous prices too, Kat. A pen that couldn’t write, tickets for a musical (I received the tickets in December, nice…. but the show was in October), a free holiday which wasn’t free at all. In the end they wanted to charge me the ridiculous amount of 850 euros, so I didn’t accept that price :)
