According to the Meteorological calendar spring started on March 1st, but this is what I saw this morning :) SNOW!!
So, who forgot to send that memo to the weather gods? I was really looking forward to spring :( Oh well, guess I’m shifting back into winter mode now.
Hooray, it is winter and it has SNOWED!! :)

Here to the South of you (well, a little!) we had a few snowflakes today but luckily it hasn't settled - although there are still small snowdrifts lying around from our last lot of nasty wet white stuff. However, I thought Spring was supposed to be on 21 March which would explain why it is keeping us waiting..
You are right qaminante. “Normal” spring starts with the spring equinox around March 21. This year spring starts at March 20, 19:26 hours. In meteorology they count whole month so March, April and May are the spring months :)
