Oh and in case you are wondering….I didn’t sign up for a dating site! I haven’t even tried it, but how about you? I am always curious about these things, so did you ever give it a go? Did it work for you? Answer if you want, or just ignore my nosy questions! :)

That's how Pauli and I met. I think I was lucky though.
I joined one years and years ago (a free one that was) just out of intrigue. Can't rememeber what it was called now, but it seemed full of nutters or Ibiza slapper types: Single mum, 21, 5 tattoos and she has a black eye in the picture! CLASSY :[]
Tried it once, but did not get much out of it.

OMG, I so do know what you mean, DoGGa. I checked some of those dating sites out (window-shopping) and some do contain a strange (sometimes even freaky) collection of people. On other sites though, you see a lot of people who make you say 'why on earth is your profile on a dating site, you don’t need it'. Oh and I would say the same thing if I saw yours up there :).
I just read the other day that dating sites only work if and when you put a lot of effort into it, Max. Like they say at (uk.)Match.com “You have to get out there, make yourself seen, and give it some effort.” (OMG that almost sounds like RL dating ;))
Yes, I've signed up for a dating site. Most of the prospectives I've completely avoided - of the ones I've met, there have been one nice but too forward, one potential stalker and one very nice chap who I've seen again :)
I've decided against meeting any more.
