Things you can do with Lego

Very nice, but is it art? Then again, what is art anyway? What is the definition of art? At what point does something go from being created to being art? Does art become art when its creator calls it art, or when someone else calls it art? Hmmz…. way too many question this early in the day ;-)

Lego is cool. I think the red, yellow and blue figures are art, but for lots of the rest, I think there has to be more than, wow thats cool its made of lego. I think the art aspect has to come from something apart from just that you made it out of Lego.

Mind you, gimme all those bricks and I'll see what I can come up with!

Wow! I'd say it is art. Fantastic. Beats me building houses and ferry boats when I was little.

Thanks all! I tend to agree with Andre. I think the blue, red and yellow figures are art because they have something extra. The maker came up with some interesting creative ideas. Most of the other stuff looks like things you could find in Legoland too. But who knows, maybe art, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder.

Now get your Lego out and get creative ;-)

Well, I would call it art, but I guess "art" is quite subjective. Excellent questions though!

And did you know that he makes THOUSANDS of dollars for each piece of work? It's true! I saw it on the news I believe.

Oh my, that’s news to me, KJ’s Muse. Maybe I should put Lego on today’s shopping list ;-)
